Your inbox just got a buddy.

Vouch checks who’s really emailing you — the sender, their company, and what they’re asking for — and tells you what to do before you hit reply.

The first sample is a real email’s pattern, with its real domain findings. The other two are made-up examples.

One look is enough

You can read its face from across the room.

Every check ends in one of four moods, so you know where you stand before reading a single detail.

All good

Nothing it checked looks wrong. Stay alert for unusual requests anyway.

Checking

Reading the sender, the domain and the claim. Takes a few seconds.

Hmm

Some details don’t add up. Confirm who this is before you share anything.

Nope

Key claims can’t be verified or look forged. Don’t reply until you’ve checked.

What it looks at

Three questions behind every email.

Who sent it?

  • Display names hiding a different address
  • Business titles sent from personal Gmail or Outlook accounts
  • Domains that imitate yours, a known brand, or someone already on the thread
  • SPF, DKIM and DMARC results, and replies redirected elsewhere

Is the company real?

  • How long the domain has existed, from registries and the Internet Archive
  • Whether any other website knows the company
  • Whether it has a working website, or a parked page
  • Whether the sender appears on the company’s site, on LinkedIn at that company, or anywhere else online
  • Mail records and DMARC policy

Does the ask hold up?

  • Buyers and investors who never name their firm
  • Requests to change bank details or pay an invoice today
  • Gift cards, secrecy and urgency
  • Signatures with no phone number or website

Privacy by design

Vouch never reads your email without your say-so.

It asks first, then works on your device. Built around the GDPR’s principles: consent, data minimisation, and no profiles of you.

You choose what it reads

  • Nothing is read until you pick a mode
  • Full check: the open email, analysed on your device
  • Sender only: just the sender’s name and address, never the subject or message
  • Change it any time in Vouch’s settings

Your email stays with you

  • Message text, subject and recipients never leave your device
  • Only the sender’s company domain and display name are looked up online
  • On Pro, image-only signatures are read on your device too
  • No ads, no tracking, no selling data

Nothing kept about you

  • No log of which emails you checked
  • Lookups are cached by company, never linked to you
  • Trusted senders are stored in your browser only
  • Ask for access or deletion any time: privacy policy

Let Vouch read it first.

The email stays on your device. Vouch only looks up the sender’s domain and name, in public registries, on the sender’s own website and in public web search.
